I think also because I in my mind was needed to position myself against a very Eurocentric idea of political cinema. So you know that film is not like bringing down the police in France, but it's allowing the victims and perpetrators as well. But unfortunately it did contribute to a change of the law in France making it illegal to film the police. And then I think another film that I had was Afri-sur-sign from the 1950s and it's widely regarded as the first film made by Africans in France.
