Introduction
The u. N. Ocean conference was held in portugal in late june. Delegates considered a diverse set of issues, from over fishing to governants of the high seas. Two of the most critical problems discussed were impact of climate change on small island developing states and growing problem of ocean pollution. To find out more, i spoke with president of pelau, surengal whipps who told me about the critical challenges that his country is facing.
