What Is Differential Privacy?

There are so many theoretical or formal benefits you can get around privacy, but then translating that into something that a human will understand a and apply to their use case is very difficult. The idea with differential privacy is that when it a set, a data set, is differentially private, you could remove any individual record or enity person from that data set and query that data set without getting the exact same answer. It also, by virtue of how it works, is future proof, in the sense that we know it will protect against attacks that might exist in the future.
