You Know, I Need You to Engage With My Work
i think that yours is a perspective that's just too easy for us to forget about. i have often wanted more support from my friends for my work. I haven't known how to ask. And you do have to deal with the possibility that some of them may not have enjoyed the music. You cannot be a fan of some one's tunes and acknowledge what it took for them to put together an album, which is what you were looking for. That point is really important, that you can ask them, you need to ask them to support you and ask for what you need.
