The Future of Machine Learning

The last two years, conferences were all about transformers. What's the next big thing here in this research field? I would say being able to use this inductive bias that comes from a variety of directions and solving problems that until now was impossible to solve basically is going to be the future. People are looking at physics as a way to address flow control problems. We are looking at how nice it would be if we can mimic, if airplanes could optimize the energy usage in the way an eagle or some, you know, some of these majestic birds fly.
