How Do You Write a Book?

Did you know in the beginning, this is what it was going to look like, or did it evolve into that? My second book is very similar in terms of style. Short stories, long form poetry, thoughts, photos. You just like, really, it's like an autopsy of my mind put on a paper. And i personally found that form at so freeing, cause no matter what i wrote, it didn't have to fit within some sort of box.
