The Throaty Bait of the World

The more we cling to that which in its nature is subject to change the more we suffer. Form, sounds, tastes, odors, tactiles and all mental objects this is the terrible bait of the world with which the world is infatuated. But when one has transcended the mind but when one has transgressed this the mindful disciple of the Buddha shines radiantly like the Sun having transcended Maar's realm.
