Average partner pay last year was 140 000 so you say there's not that many around 150 I mean if it's evenly distributed there actually probably are quite a few doctors certainly have 156,000. The current financial models for GPs doesn't necessarily lend itself to the best set of behaviors because the competition fee you're paid whether you see a patient one time 10 times or 50 times is actually incentive to see the patient as little as possible. "I don't mind if my GP earns 200 grand 300 grand a year as long as their coffee scores are good and the service they're providing is good" - Dr Andrew Lloyd Webber.
