The Anti-Leadism of the Neoliberal Tradition

Ne liberalism believes that the better people on top of society, in a freemarket sense, have some sort of justice to it. In hyak and freedmen and buchanan in particular, they'll say things about justice here and there. But if you really push them, they would say something like "the reason we want these institutions is because they're generally the best" And then they would be like canocagian, what the best was? Because they want to be subjectivists about it. They say, well, just conit depends on what people's values are. Maybe they care about the good, but they do seem clearly to have certain intuitions about justice
