How Do We Know When We're in Recession?

i'm sharing a deck. This is something i ihad shared privately a little bi ago, and happy to share it publicly now. We're in a pronounced, pervasive and persistent declines. You can start to see that some of the declines in the indicators have not been seen outside of recession. Those those forward looking indicators, the long leading index right now, for example, i'll call out something on the chart for you, is the worst that's been since the great recession.
