The UK's Offshore Wind Farm Is Coming Online
The largest UK offshore wind farm is being switched on today. SSE renewables, Equinor and Vagron will eventually have capacity to power more than six million homes in the UK. It's a success story in terms of clean, renewable energy. But it comes in the week that the Prime Minister of the US also announced these hundreds of new licenses that would be given out to oil and gas production in the North Sea.
