The Life and Times of Baha'u'llah
By the end of his life Baha'u'llah had gathered a significant following of Baha'is maybe around 100,000. He died on May 29th 1892 and at the age of 74. His son Abdul was succeeded by his grandson Shoghi Effendi who led the religion during some of its most formative years. After Effendi's death there is no longer any one human leader of the faith instead they establish the so-called universal house of justice which is an administrative body that still to this day is the central authority to the Baha'i faith.
