The Importance of Grieving a Relationship

I think it's interesting the way that we never really get over anything. This being if you've spent time in a relationship with anybody, there's always some place in you for that person and those memories and never fully exits. And also, I think with romantic love, so much of the grief when it comes to an end is all those unrealized possibilities, that potential unlived life. In this book, to some degree, that's what haunts the narrative more than the actual loss of the relationship itself.
