In the nervous system nerd world, we call it conscious distraction. In order to be able to engage cognitively, to do thought work, like, look at the worry thought i'm spinning in around money or weight or whatever, my nervous system needs a break. And that's when we organize something. It's one of the tools is is putting something in order.
For the next four weeks, we'll be diving into the concept of money as medicine and how our relationship with money affects our overall well-being.
