The History of Madness
The history of madness is kind of a gender setting almost right across everything he would go on to do. There were several pats that fuco could have gone down that he chose not to, or that circumstances led him to take a different route. Fuco has notes on heydiger texts that weren't even published in german until after fuko's death. And yes, fuco was reading hydeger very extensively in the 19 fifties. I mean notes on text that are almost as long as the text that they're taking notes on.
