There is a black hole at the center of every galaxy, including our own Milky Way. There could have been microscopic black holes that formed very early in the universe. They'd still be lurking around and wreaking havoc on the universe. But we don't have observations yet to back that up.
In this episode, Amber and Peter discuss the 25-year journey of bringing the James Webb Space Telescope to life; they dive into space theory and the future possibilities with the JWST and answer the question, “are we the first sentient beings in the universe?”
