The Politics of Water Conservation
Arizona is one of the only states without a historic tax credit aimed to save historic buildings. For example, Phoenix offers incentives to property owners who want to rehabilitate historic building exteriors or protect older warehouses that might be at risk of being demolished. The Arizona Heritage Fund was funded by some of your lottery dollars and it came back thanks to the 2022 legislature.
