The Fair Light Choir and the D Major Melody

The D major melodic motif is actually the melody that I most associate with this song. It's kind of interesting to me that it doesn't actually come in until so far into the recording. Part of that is the harmony here. They're going back and forth between B minor and then up a half step to C major. And I gotta say this is really another moment where the fair light choir shines. That's kind of a secret weapon of this song.
