Funkadelic - The Last Gasp of the Parliament Lineup
This early Funkadelic lineup is unique among parliament Funkadelic lineups, right, Phil? Well, yes. Right after this album, the band kind of splintered a bit. And then for the next album, which was America Eats It's Young, they got a whole bunch of new players like most notably Booty Collins and Catfish Collins who admitted James Brown's band. So this was basically the last gasp of sort of their original lineup before things got really messy and confusing. We're going to move directly into the meat of the first track, which is a 10 minute guitar solo called Megit Brain, the title track.
