Darrell grew up as a son to someone who worked in the united nations. He lived all over the world and had exposure to all these different backgrounds,. And everyone excepted one another. Darrell did not experience his first taste of raceism until he was ten years of age, when he was marching for the cub Scouts. Even though he trusted his parents and said that his parents had never lied to him, racism scrambled his brain so much that he was convinced his parents were lying to him.
