The UK is using its new freedoms to negotiate new trade deals and upgrade existing ones. Our trading relationship with the US was worth over $250 billion over the past 12 months. More than 1.2 million Americans work for UK companies in the United States. Just under 1.5 million Brits go to work for an American firm every day.
