Turning Blog Posts Into Books

A lot of books that have been written in the last two decades were made into books simply because the author wanted to have a book. There are also blog posts that probably shouldn't be books, but i guess my question is how do you figure that out? Well, it's if you just were honest with yourself as a writer and said, what do people need to know? What do i need to transmit, and how can i do that most efficiently? If it does need to be a book, don't make it a book.
