Introduction

In May of 1989, a man by the name of Dennis appeared on Las Vegas local news station K-L-A-S with his face darkened to conceal his identity. He told journalist George Knapp that the government had nine flying saucers and it was his job to help reverse engineer them. This story started a media frenzy and was broadcast all over the world sparking in mainstream interest in Area 51. Claiming he was threatened at gunpoint, Dennis revealed to the public for insurance his legal name, Bob Lazar.
