The Lord's Prerequisite for a Missionary
In the doctrine of covenants, the Lord gives us a prerequisite and I would emphasize this with all missionaries. He says to Hiram Smith in section 11, seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word. And then shall your tongue be loose. So trust that the Lord will help you know what to say. But what you can do is to fill your mind with the gospel, treasure up the words of eternal life.
