We know that hoyd is a misborn, or at least has the potential to be a fool misborn. We do not have confirmation if he swallowed laurisium. It could be used as a bargaining chip in some type of tand forth between the higher power. He can repair or regenerate severed body part. This healing power hints at fur chemical ability which would be a gold mine.
