Jim marshall was diagnosed with skeletal tuberculosis when he was five. He spent the next seven years of his life, from age five until 12, in a full body cast. Marshall eventually gave up playing the drums and retired to vunna music shop. His last gig as a drummer saw him being heckled by his boxer father.
