The Exodus Story

The exodus story stood out to black people under slavery in a unique way. The slaves saw, in the stories of daniel, moses and jonah, a much different god than the one described by their slave masters. They not only heard the exodus story, but they felt it. And they knew that the god of the bible chose them over their slaveholdersad that was amazing.
