Fluorescent lighting depletes all the sugar in your brain, which actually makes you crave sugar. The halo effect is if you like a president's politics, you probably like his voice and his appearance as well. You know that presidents traditionally have not been elected if they have weak chins? Because we don't actually know how our brains will trick us into believing we have the information necessary to make an impact.
