Thank God for Strikes

I say thank God for strikes because our public services are on their knees after 10 years of austerity. What I find incredibly shameful is the complete absence of higher echelons of Labour in this country today. Unless you don't have any working class friends, either you or someone you know is going to probably be on strike today. And so they feel like they can sort of divide and conquer it, which is actually a very Thatcherite approach. The last thing that is on their Twitter account is a retweet of Evac Cooper talking about cracking down on anti-social behaviour. It's really sad that Kiz Starmer thinks he's simply too good to stand next to workers in picket lines
