The Renaissance and the Victorian Periods of Western Culture
In 1967, the fair moved to Northern California with the Living History Center being established by Ron and Phyllis. Since it's founding, the center's focus has been the English Renaissance and Victorian periods of Western culture. Some fairs are set in German or French villages, instead of an English one. There are also fairs that do lean more into the fantasy elements, that lean others thatLean more into the living history aspect.
