Risc-V

RISC-V is scaling up very quickly. We just announced a whole new generation of designs last week in fact. And when you look at this, now CPUs get used in many different kinds of things. Most people want to build high level applications and they want to compose things together with libraries. Swift there, again, gives you a couple of different options. On the one hand, you can say, hey, I'm going to go write it in C or assembly or something like that. But on the otherhand, you can use things like the Swift SIMD libraries, for example. Those SIMD libraries allow you direct access to some of the hardware capabilities in modern processors.
