The History of Mines

In the last few days I've noticed that and maybe this is sort of a sign that I don't know the MOD wants these stories out because in the economist had a good story about how Ukraine is relying on sappers. Very little seems to have changed when reading through the history of mines and then of course counter mine basically de-mining equipment so on. It's still like there's not much you can do about it if you're facing an enemy that's very effective at mining or even guerrilla armies which are also good at it.
