The Importance of Clearance

There's a strange scene where after these closed-door hearings that the movie goes out of its way to stress again and again, like, this is not a legal proceeding. It's just about whether or not you get clearance. So those bits and pieces that did depict Oppenheimer as at least complicated if not sometimes villainous in a certain way. But then by the conclusion of the film, he's filled with regret, which I'm sure is probably true or could be true at least.
