The Apocalypse of War

The final institution that sort of prevents us from going to the apocalypse throughout things is essentially war. War was almost like a sport in the 17th and 18th century, they were called the gentlemen's wars. You would raise an arm and war would be what an aristocrat just does. For example, in Greece, people would literally, it would be like a rugby match when they were fighting over a piece of land.
