The Role of Emotions in Marriage Counseling
I need to ask you a Puritan question. I feel like I'm compelled here. So there's probably some better Puritan word for compelled, but let's talk a bit about the role of emotion here because that's another thing. There's often this conflation of emotion with love and you've emphasized agape being a self sacrificial love. What is the role of emotions when we're thinking about this? And, and though they don't take the leading role, how best out we to understand emotions or maybe better to use an older term: affections.
