The Importance of Machine Learning in the Future of Life

People don't seem to know or even think that a lot of the decisions that are being made about things that you actually care about in your life have been automated for decades now. I couldn't agree more. We've had discussions on this topic on the podcast before. What blows my mind is, is everybody's concerned about this right now with respect to generative AI and these LOMs.
