The White Horse Inn

The White Horse Inn was open the night in 1966 when transgender women fought back against police harassment and Compton's cafeteria across the bay in San Francisco. It was still open two years later when the Stonewall Inn was raided across the country, and people protested for three days. The White Horse survived the pandemic. It will be open tonight and tomorrow.
