A chav is a young person of low social class who dresses in a particular way. They often dress in cheap sports clothes with Reebok trainers, some tracksuit trousers and maybe a fake Burberry cap. A lot of these chavs are actually sort of criminals and they might mug you or if they don't mug you they might just say some stuff to you that's not very nice. Now the word chav is actually kind of a pejorative term, it's a negative term used by more middle class people because they don't like these types of people so they call them chavs. Cheeky can also be used now as a way of sort of,
