The Catalan Language in Catalonia
In the mid 18 dreds and later 18 hundreds, spain starts to industrialize more. There are important minerals and mines in northern spain. And catalogna ends up industrializing the fastest of any part of spain. At the same time that these new classes are emerging, you also get a movement of cultural revivalism. This then feeds into a revolutionary movement which kind of explodes on the scene with the first spanish i right.
