Bin Laden's Call for a War on the Middle East
Back in 1999, there were no drones. Any missile strike would take several hours to reach its target and usually a few days to be greenlit before that. Knowing where Bin Laden was going to be throughout that timeframe was essential. Richard Clarke then takes a closer look at the satellite pictures of the camp. In the quarter of the shot, he spots a C-130, a military transport aircraft. Clearly, someone at the camp was a big player. This was crucial live intel.
