When resonance gets too much, you know, it starts chattering. And so we put resonators, let's say a guitar or a violin has a sounding box in it. That's a resonator to make it echo a bit. Great churches at one time were still asked, built by acoustic experts. So concert halls to give them the proper resonance. Some of the old cathedral's which weren't built with acoustical knowledge, you can hear the echoes of a choir going on forever and ever and ever.
