Jared: I feel like this is a big moment to introduce some sort of subsystem. So Adam, how do we get feature flags? What do you think? Where do you stand on that? Well, we're doing 5050. Can't we just do like an if statement was like, yeah, random divided by two? Sure. If it's an even second, do this. And if it's an uneven second, do the other thing. Is this the metric system or which system we're going to use here? Luckily seconds only exist with one. That's the real spirit of shipping. Yeah. Right. We literally have to get it out to see if it works.

Episode notes
This is our 9th Kaizen with Adam & Jerod. We start today’s conversation with the most important thing: embracing change. For Gerhard, this means putting Ship It on hold after this episode. It also means making more time to experiment, maybe try a few of those small bets that we recently talked about with Daniel. Kaizen will continue, we are thinking on the Changelog. Stick around to hear the rest.
