The Taste of Saffron

The University of Vermont now has a dedicated program for saffron cultivation. This is maybe a big crop that can be grown in the US and create a lot of job opportunities just like it has in Iran, India and Greece. When you dilute it in something and you use a small amount it can produce really unique complex flavors some honey-like notes  a little bit of bitterness a nice volatile aroma.
