The Rockefeller Foundation took on malaria, hookworm and yellow fever. They funded the advancement of modern medicine in China. The hearings didn't lead to any regulation; general consensus afterwards was that these foundations were a net positive to society. People are always suspicious of people with a lot of money, right?
