"I kind of dig that brimstone in fire when it ain't burning me up, but I'm okay with the brimstone fire power when it's burning you up," he says. "There are many times that I am in the garden, y'all. I've been betrayed around here." He adds: "My relationship with my higher power has changed through the years ... It could be a little scary because I'd be walking around going, oh, I feel like Jesus on the cross?"
