Indonesia's Export Ban on Bork Site Is a Low-Cost Option
President wants to stop export of raw materials that are unprocessed. It seems as if what the president is doing here is assertively moving to keep the material in the ground rather than let it go abroad. Indonesia is actually not a major world supplier of book sites, so this places Indonesia in a very difficult and different situation from Nigob. Some people may bite the bullet and say, well, all right, we will come and build a Bork site smelter in Indonesia. But because of the difficult economics of BorkSite smelting, people are probably going to be reluctant to do that.
