The Effects of Squatting With Bands

In the band group in this particular study, what they would first do is remove that. And then they would add an amount of bands that was equal to 35% of one RM. In effect, you would want it to be an average of 160 kilos throughout the entire portion of the lift. But squatting with the bands did lead to larger increases in squat jump improvement and counter movement jump improvement. So it was like 21.4 versus 12.9 for squat jump and 12.9 versus 5.6 for counter movement jump.
