The Chinese Takeover - What Can China Do to Re-Terraform the Planet?

In order to have the Chinese takeover, they would have to coordinate all of these global capitalist economies from a center. What we're talking about is how do you make voluntary reduction of consumption in the West? That is the challenge. There is no constellation of power outside of China that would accede to that without sweeping over the negotiating table and going to war. The reason they look like crackpots is because that's impossible, but that's not because they're crazy.
