The Nature Is Not Idealized

He was fascinated with birds, and wrote dozens of bird poems. He saw birds as the way that nature renews herself. In hardy poems, for instance, ands often things are not particularly pastoral or idyllic at all. A kind of muddy field would be the kind of archetype of hardy nature. We happen to be in nature, and we don't know why. And that's our situation.
