The Limits of Chess Games

The possible number of chess games is so huge that no one will ever invest the effort to calculate the exact number. In tic-tac-toe which has a much smaller number of possible games is in a sense an infinite game if you play first there's no excuse not to win it. We'll talk more about why we think this idea of finite infinite games is interesting and some more ways it can be applied.
